 Chanel M. Beebe was born and raised in Detroit, MI. In her youth she attended Alonzo Bates Academy and eventually graduated from Renaissance High School with Honors. While in High School, she was the president of DECA (a HS Business program) and Spanish Club. She also founded and managed the school’s first School Based Enterprise as well as the District’s first Spanish National Honor Society. In 2009 she graduated from Renaissance High School with a 3.87 GPA. She was accepted into The University of Michigan- Ann Arbor where she is currently studying in the College of Engineering to become and Industrial Operations Engineer. Her academic goals include Bachelors in engineering with an International minor, a Masters in Engineering Management and ultimately a PhD in Financial Engineering. Currently, however, her immediate goals include at least a 3.4 GPA, and traveling abroad next summer. She attributes all of her academic success to her faith in God, and the nurturing upbringing of her parents and family.
